Cute Card Thursday - Feminine

Our theme at Cute Card Thursday this week is 'Feminine'. 
As always, we welcome your own interpretation. 

I just love everything Disney and when I saw this adorable shaker kit from Queen & Co. I knew I just HAD to have it!
This kit is called 'Magical Characters' and is packed full of fun!

I used the papers from the kit to make the card - cutting the banners by hand. The sentiment was stamped using one of the stamps in the kit - they have the perfect sentiments to match the dies - in worn lipstick distress oxide. I popped the sentiment up on foam tape and the small pink stars were the leftovers from cutting out the hat. I added some twine from my stash, and some wink of stella on the stars and brim of the hat.

This was added to a standard A2 white card base.

Cute Card Thursday - Spring Fever

Our theme at Cute Card Thursday this week is 'Spring Fever'. 
As always, we welcome your own interpretation. 

I love this adorable Spring collection from Photoplay Paper - 'Bloom'. The bright colors and sticker elements really shout out Spring - something I am looking forward to as we are buried in snow right now!

This card was made entirely from the stickers and papers in the collection - a super quick and easy card to make.

I added some enamel dots and bakers twine from stash, and popped the panel upon fun foam for added dimension.

I love that you can make super cute cards just from a collection pack - no coloring or cutting needed!

Without further ado, let me share another one of the projects I created with this amazing kit.

There are so many fun possibilities with these stamps, dies, papers and goodies!

I started by die cutting the flowers, flower pot and bird using the 'Build a Garden' die set and the 'Pretty Pastels' patterned paper in the kit. These look super cute and there really is nothing else you need to do with them - so if you don't color this kit is perfect for you!

I saw an example of a rocker card on facebook last month and thought this would work great for this card! I die cut a large circle from the designer paper using Whimsy Stamps new Pierced and Stitched circles die set, and scored it half way down. I folded this half to make the rocker base.

I then die cut a smaller circle from white cardstock for the feature panel. I used the same die to cut a circle from the green patterned paper and then used the grass and cloud edger die set for the grass (if you don't have this die you could easily cut it out with your scissors). I like the way the grass also has the matching stitching around the base.

I then adhered all of my die cut images onto the base and then adhered this to the folded card base. I finished the card off with some white gel pen and Whimsy Stamps 'It's a party' enamel dots (these match perfectly to the colors in the paper pack).

There are so many fun possibilities with these stamps, dies, papers and goodies!

I started by stamping the bunny and coloring it in with my prismacolor pencils. I added some glossy accents to the nose and set it aside to dry.

I stamped the eggs and bows directly onto the 'pretty pastels' designer paper and fussy cut them out. I then paper pieced them together.

I cut strips of the designer paper to make a decorative grouping along the bottom of my card for the bunny to sit on.

I used some of the plain white cardstock in the kit to make a standard A2 white card base and added the paper strips along the bottom. I added some baker's twine from my stash - tying it into a bow.

I stamped the sentiment from the Hoppy Spring stamp set and finished the card off with the bunny, eggs and enamel dots.

Cute Card Thursday - Anything Goes

Our theme at Cute Card Thursday this week is 'Anything Goes'. 

As always, we welcome your own interpretation. 

I used the adorable Beaucoup Bouquet stamp set from Whimsy Stamps as the main focus for my card this week. I stamped them directly onto the Whimsy Stamps 'Chilly' 6x6 papers and used the coordinating Beaucoup Bouquet dies to cut them out.

I cut a white panel of cardstock measuring 4" x 5 1/4" and used the Whimsy Stamps Gingham Background stamp on the top section of the card for the pattern strip. I used my black gel pen to add the 2 black lines to define the edge of this pattern.

 I used the Whimsy Stamps 'You're My Favorite' stamp set to stamp the sentiment onto the panel and arranged the flowers and foliage on top. 

I adhered this panel onto a standard A2 black card base and finished it off with some Whimsy Stamps 'Winter Wishes' enamel dots.
