'Aloha' card

This week's challenge (no. 159) over at Cute Card Thursday was "tropical'! I found this gorgeous image over at Stitchy Bear digital images. Excuse the way the picture has turned out - the lighting outside was rubbish and so the colouring doesn't look as good as in real life!! (That's my excuse anyway!!)


I followed a sketch from the Sweet sketch Wednesday challenge (no. 96) which I am entering this card into. I am also entering it into the following:

    Don't worry about the coloring...It looks great. I know when I take pictures of my cards and look at them online, the camera has a way of bring out every little flaw and detail of the card. I wonder sometimes. You see things that you never notice when you are just looking at them in your hands.

    So you are new to the card making world. That is wonderful. You will get so addicted to it. You are doing great at it too. Your card is adorable. i love the image and all the fun emblishments. Thanks so much for sharing your card with us.
