You're my Beastie!

I LOVE this new image from From the Heart Stamps - 'Yeti'. It comes complete with some great sentiments and background elements.

I used this week's sketch #124 from the blog:

I colored the image with my prismacolor pencils, and used a variety of Teresa Collins papers. I popped up the yeti for more dimension and added stitching instead of matting.

Cute Card Thursday - Sparkles

I used one of the images from our sponsor this week - All Dressed Up Stamps. 
This image is called '3 Little Christmas Girls'. I love these images because not only do you get all 3 girls in one image, you also get them as separate images as well. I used just one of the images on this card. 

I used Bo Bunny's 'Snowfall' collection of papers. I colored the girl in with my prismacolor pencils - in blue instead of the traditional red - and added some glitter powder to her hat and dress for added sparkle. Some stitching and a little bling finished the card off!

Birthday wishes

This is another of my favorites from From the Heart Stamps - 'Bouquet Chick'.

I used this week's sketch #123 from the blog:

I rotated the sketch and added a banner. I fully intended to do some stitching on the card, but actually quite liked it with just the pierced holes.

I colored the image with my prismacolor pencils, and used a variety of Teresa Collins papers.

The Paper Girls Challenge #90 - Get Ready For Halloween

This fortnight's challenge is 'Get Ready For Halloween'. 

I used more images from one of my favorite companies - From The Heart Stamps. I used 2 of their images this time - BirdBrain Jack-o-Lantern and Owl and Pumpkins.

I used My Mind's Eye 'Mischievous' collection for the frame - which I popped up to give some dimension. The owl and pumpkins are popped onto the frame, with the BirdBrain chick hiding behind. I added some stitching to the frame for a little more interest.

Get Well Soon

This is October's Stamp of the Month from From the Heart Stamps -  'Cornucopia' .

I used this week's sketch #122 from the blog:

I colored the image with my prismacolor pencils, and used Simple Stories 'Pumpkin Spice' 6x6 paper pad. I made the sentiment myself.

Please excuse the colors of the photograph - it looks a bit washed out. The lighting here is terrible and I'm just getting used to a new camera!

I found this cute image on the internet - searching 'candy cane coloring'.

I found a similar card on Desert Diva's blog which I used for inspiration.

I made my own sentiment on the Silhouette Designer package, and used paper from My Mind's Eye 'Winter Wonderland'. Finished off with some baker's twine!

I rotated the sketch and added a couple more elements. I colored the image using my prismacolor pencils - I rarely color on colored cardstock so this was a challenge for me.

I used a variety of Authentique papers and a little bling!
