So I am now officially in charge of the CC Greetings challenges over on Colorful Creations! This is new for me - I'm not really a card maker but I am loving the challenge and responsibility it brings with it! Here is my first challenge:
The first of this month's CC Greetings challenge is to have an "Oriental" theme. It is Chinese New year on the 23rd of this month and I thought this would make a great challenge! It is being sponsored by Stitchy Bear Stamps. Stitchy Bear Stamps will be generously awarding the random chosen winner of this challenge, a $10 gift certificate (valid on the following creators: Stitchy Stamps, Floppy Latte Designs and Sylvie Stamps).
THE CHALLENGE:
Create an ORIENTAL THEMED CARD and the following must be included:
(1) A STAMPED or DIGITAL image.
and that's it!!! It is your choice of layout and your choice if you want to include a sentiment on your card.
It is not compulsory to use an image from Stitchy Bear Stamps, although if you do use an image from Stitchy Bear to complete your entry you will receive an extra entry into the prize drawing.
ALL ENTRIES:
(1) Must be new as of Jan 1st, 2012 and posted no later than January 14th, at 11:45 PM (EST)
(2) Cannot be combined with any other CC challenge.
Please upload your entry to the gallery, tag it and then place only the link in the event area. Please read and follow these directions carefully because if your entry is not properly uploaded you will not receive credit for that entry.
