Echo Park Happy Fall

I love paper! I am a paper addict! Lol! I love the new collection from Echo Park - Happy Fall. I used the 6x6 paper pad to create this card and cute pumpkin treats.

I used lots of dies from Queen & Co, along with one of their sketches, to create this card.

I also used some ephemera for a previous Echo Park Collection (Fall is in the Air) which coordinated perfectly.

Some bakers twine and enamel dots from my stash finished off the card.

The 7KidsCrafts store have so many paper collections to choose from - you should go check them all out!

Thanks for looking.

Cute Card Thursday - Inky

Our theme at Cute Card Thursday this week is 'Inky'.
As always, we welcome your own interpretation.

I used another one of my favorite Whimsy Stamps red rubber stamp sets for this card - Ellie Summer Squares by the awesome Crissy Armstrong.

I stamped out the elephants and colors them in with my prismacolor pencils. I then fussy cut them out.

I used shaded lilac and worn lipstick inks to create the blended background. I then used the Whimsy Stamps quilted rainbow inlaid die to add the rainbow texture to the inked panel.

I cut out the scalloped panel using the same quilted rainbow inlaid die.

I stamped the sentiment using Whimsy Stamps Penguin Gardener clear stamp set and adhered it all onto a standard A2 white card base.

Catherine Pooler Bushels of Love

The new Catherine Pooler collection is in the 7KidsCraft store! Another great release!

I used the Bushels of Love stamp set along with the new Paradise found mini inks for my cards. Quick and easy, with no coloring involved!

For the first card, I masked off a rectangle on a panel of white cardstock. I then used the Sauna and Mandarin Spice inks from the Paradise Found ink set to blend the background.

I stamped the sentiment and images with black ink over the top of the blended background

I used the Peppermint Scrub ink to stamp the leaves.

This white cardstock panel was then adhered to a panel of red patterned cardstock from the Photoplay Gnome for the Holidays Thanksgiving 6x6 paper pad.

This was then adhered onto a standard A2 white card base.

For my second card, I , again, kept it clean and simple. This time I stamped the sentiment from the Bushels of Love stamp set onto a white cardstock panel, using brown and mandarin spice inks. For something different, I 'shadow' stamped the mandarin sentiment, moving the sentiment a tiny bit to the right and stamping it for a second time with the remaining ink.

I used the different leaf stamps in the Bushels of Love stamp set, along with Peppermint Scrub, Mandarin Spice, Sauna and Green Tea inks from the Paradise Found mini ink set. I used a brown sharpie to add some dots around the leaves.

I die cut a circle around the sentiment piece of the panel to add a little interest.

I adhered the white cardstock panel (without the circle cut out) onto a piece of brown patterned cardstock, again from the Photoplay Gnome for the Holidays Thanksgiving 6x6 paper pad.

I added some twine from my stash and then adhered the panel onto a standard A2 white card base,

I then popped up the circle die cut back into the panel with foam dots.

PhotoPlay Paper Gnome for the Holidays - Halloween collection

WARNING: Long post - lots of pictures!

So everyone knows I have a gnome obsession, and Photoplay Paper really hit it out of the park with all of their gnomes collections this year....I just HAD to have them all!

I am starting off with showcasing the Gnome for the Holidays Halloween Collection. I decided to use the 3 gnomes in the coordinating stamp set and make a card and treat with each theme.

First off, I went for the candy corn theme. I don't know if this gnome's hat was supposed to be colored like a candy corn, but I couldn't resist!

I stamped the image and colored him in with my prismacolor pencils. I then fussy cut him out. I used papers from the 12x12 paper collection, along with twine and enamel dots from my stash, to make the card.

For the treat box, I used lawn Fawn's Milk Carton die and die cut some of the paper from the 12x12 collection. I added the candy corn and label sticker from the sticker sheet in the collection. I made a tag using one of the stickers and attached some twine and a mini clothes peg from my stash.

For my next set, I used the Dracula gnome from the stamp set.

I stamped the gnome and bats using the coordinating stamp set and colored them in with my prismacolor pencils. I added some white gel pen detailing and then fussy cut them out. I used papers from the 12x12 collection to make the card, along with the sentiment from the sticker sheet and some enamel dots from my stash.

For the treat box, I used Lawn Fawn's Pillow Box die with some of the patterned paper from the collection. I used a Martha Stewart spooky fence punch and added the bat from the sticker sheet. I wrapped some tine around the box and adhered the sentiment from the sticker sheet.

My last set has a witch and potions theme.

I stamped the witch and potion bottles from the coordinating stamp set and colored them in using my prismacolor pencils. I added some white gel pen detailing and fussy cut them out. The large Oct 31 banner is one of the cut parts in the collection, as are all of the papers used. The sentiment is from the sticker sheet.

For the treats, I used some glass test tubes I had in my stash from Michaels. I made mini tags using a tombstone die from Whimsy Stamps and the stickers from the collection sheet. I wrapped a little bakers twine around the top and added halloween colored skittles. I think these turned out super cute!

There are so many possibilities with the paper collection and stamp set - it makes Halloween treats fun!

Stamping Bella - Oddball Cinderella

The new Stamping Bella stamps are just too cute and I love the different Oddball characters you can get. This one is called Oddball Cinderella - it is currently unavailable in the 7KidsCraft store but there are lots of other fun characters you can use for the same card design, like Snow White or the step sisters would be fun!

I stamped the image and colored her in with my prismacolor pencils. I added some white gel pen detailing and fussy cut her out.

I I cut a panel of white cardstock measuring 4" x 5.25" and masked off the bottom part using purple tape. I then ink blended some shaded lilac distress ink to create the background.

I then used the sentiment from the set to stamp directly onto the bottom of the panel.

I adhered this panel onto a standard A2 purple card base and added a super thin strip of the same cardstock to break up the blended piece.

I finished the card off by adhering the image directly onto the card.

I super quick, clean and simple card. The image and sentiment speaks volumes - I didn't think it needed any other details.

Cute Card Thursday - Embossing

Our theme at Cute Card Thursday this week is 'Embossing'.
As always, we welcome your own interpretation.

Another fun digital stamp from Whimsy Stamps - this is the awesome Batter Up! digital stamp.

I printed out the image and colored him in with my prismacolor pencils. I then fussy cut him out.

I cut a white cardstock panel measuring 4" x 5.25", and stamped the sentiment using the Whimsy Stamps Bold Statements sentiment stamp.

I embossed a piece of tan cardstock from my stash, using the Whimsy Stamps Polka Dot stencil and adhered this to the bottom of the panel. I added some red and white twine from my stash and then added the Batter Up image.

I adhered the panel onto a standard A2 white card base.

Paperie Ink Surf's Up

The Paperie Ink stamp sets are just too cute - I love them all! The 'Surf's Up' stamp set is one of my Summer favorites and is currently out of stock in the 7KidsCraft store.

I stamped the images and colored them in with my prismacolor pencils. I added some gel pen detailing and fussy cut them out.

I cut the white cardstock frame using Whimsy Stamps Slimline Five Frames die.

The colored cardstock is from PhotoPlay's Tulla and Norbert Excellent Adventure paper pack. This paper pack is 12x12, but has 6x6 patterns on the sheets. It is Photoplay's version of the 6x6 paper pad.

I used MFT mini cloud edges stencil and white ink to create some subtle clouds on the background.

I stamped the waves and beach using the Surf's Up stamp set onto the patterned paper and fussy cut them out. I added them into the slimline frame and added the images on top. The sentiment was stamped from the same stamp set and fussy cut into a banner.

Stamping Bella - You Can

The new Stamping Bella stamps are just too cute and work perfectly for a CAS style card. I used Curvy Girl Namaste - available int he 7KidsCraft store.

I stamped the image and colored her in with my prismacolor pencils. I added some white gel pen detailing and fussy cut her out.

I cut a panel of white cardstock measuring 3.75" x 5", and adhered this onto a teal colored cardstock measuring 4" x 5.25".

I used Stamping Bella's Encouragement stamp set for the sentiment. I stamped the 'You Can' directly onto the white panel and then stamped the restof the sentiment onto black cardstock and heat embossed it with white embossing powder. I cut this into a thin strip and adhered it underneath the first sentiment. I adhered these panels onto a standard A2 white card base.

I finished off the card by popping up the image on foam dots.

I love how this card turned out!

Pinkfresh Studio and PhotoPlay Paper combined!

I was given the challenge of creating cards using this stamp set, and I was aiming to show you how versatile this stamp is. The stamp and paper collection are both available in the 7kidscraft store (links below).

For the first card I used one of the flowers stamps and designer papers, and stamped a background using Versamark watermark ink. I then heat embossed it with clear embossing powder.

I cut the panel in half and adhered the panel onto a standard A2 white card base. I used some of the flower patterned paper from the collection and die cut a scalloped strip, I adhered this to the card, along with a thinner white strip, adding black gel pen detailing.

I stamped the sentiment from the Pop out Diamond stamp set and finished off the card with some coordinating enamel dots from my stash.

For the second card, I wanted something quick and easy, with a clean and simple design.

I used the solid diamond stamp in the set, along with distress inks in spiced marmalade and wild honey. I just smooshed the inks onto the stamp and stamped directly onto a white card base.

I used black ink to stamp the flower in the middle and the sentiment off to the side. I felt it needed a little something more, so added a coordinating cardstock color from the Photoplay collection.

For my third card, I decided to make things a little more difficult!

I love the patterns and colors in the Photoplay Tulla & Norbert collection, and wanted to showcase these on the card along with the stamp set.

I cut out diamond from the different paper, and used some of the flower stamps to stamp onto the less busy patterns.

I stamped the sentiment from the stamp set, and added it into a strip down the side.. A thinner strip was also adde in yellow and then it was adhered onto an orange panel to tie all of the colors together.

This was all adhered onto a standard A2 white card base and finished off with some enamel dots from my stash.

So many different looks that you can get from one stamp set. And it can be as easy or complicated as you want to make it!

Sending Birthday Wishes

I made slimline birthday this week using the Pizzeria Parlor stamp sets designed by 7KidsCrafts!!! These are adorable stamp sets, that coordinate with the other 7KidsCraft designs.

I stamped the images using the 7KidsCrafts Pizzeria Kids stamp set and colored them in with my prismacolor pencils. I added some white gel pen detailing and fussy cut them out.

I used a Slim Card Basics die from Mama Elephant to cut out the scalloped and window panel. The blue cardstock is from Photoplay's Tulla & Norbert's Excellent Adventure paper pack.

I stamped the sentiment from the 7KidsCrafts Pizzeria Kids stamp set, directly onto the white cardstock window panel.

I finished off the card with some of Doodlebug's Land the I love star sprinkles.

You make me so Happy

I am in love with slimline cards! I think they are so different and fun! For this card I played with Paperie Ink's Panda Expressions stamp set! They are just too cute, and need very little coloring!

I stamped the images and added some grey and pink highlights, black gel pen eyes and glossy accents to their noses. I then fussy cut them out.

I cut out a green patterned paper panel measuring 8.75" x 3.75" from Doodlebug's At the Zoo paper collection and added this to a white card base measuring 9"x4".

I used Whimsy Stamps Slimline Five Frames die to cut out the white cardstock back panel, and offset the frames inside.

I popped up the different panda's on foam dots and placed them around the card.

The sentiment strip came from my stash - Simon Says Stamp.

I love how this card turned out!

Cute Card Thursday - Bright Colors

Our theme at Cute Card Thursday this week is 'Bright Colors'.
As always, we welcome your own interpretation.

I used the adorable Penguin Beach digital image by Crissy Armstrong for Whimsy Stamps for my card.

I printed out the image and colored him in with my prismacolor pencils. I then fussy cut him out.

I used the Whimsy Stamps giraffe paper pack for the patterned papers, creating a fun wave and sand effect.
I used the Whimsy Stamps cloud die and pierced and stitched circle die also.

The sentiment was stamped using the Whimsy Stamps Penguin Life's a beach clear stamp set. I used the Whimsy Stamps Quick Strips dies to cut it out into a banner.

This was all adhered onto a standard A2 white card base.
