Catherine Pooler - But First Coffee

I love the new Catherine Pooler stamps and I LOVE my coffee in the morning. The Life, Love, Latte stamp by Catherine Pooler is the perfect combination. This is currently available in the 7KidsCrafts store

I used some rainbow colored strips of cardstock from my stash and added the pattern to each strip. I used the coffee bean stamp from the set, along with coordinating colors of Catherine Pooler ink. I used the Catherine Pooler foundation collection of 'party' mini inks with 4 of the colors, along with Mustard seed distress oxide too.

I stamped the coffee cups onto a strip of white cardstock and colored them in rainbow colors.

I used some teal cardstock from my stash for the background panels.

I adhered the rainbow strips onto the teal background and stamped the sentiment from the set. I adhered the coffee cup strip onto the rainbow panel and adhered this all onto a standard A2 white card base. I finished the card off with some white heart sprinkles.

Make sure you check out the 7KidsCrafts store as they always have lots of new goodies including more Catherine Pooler goodies.

Cute Card Thursday - Flowers

Our theme at Cute Card Thursday this week is 'Flowers'.
As always, we welcome your own interpretation.

I'm not a huge flower person, but one of my favorite Whimsy Stamps clear stamp sets is Beaucoup Bouquet. I love the more modern feel to these flowers.

I stamped out the flowers using Versamark Watermark ink and then heat embossed them with white embossing powder.

I then used spiced marmalade, wild honey and mustard seed distress inks, to ink blend over the top. I wiped away any excess ink from the embossed flowers with a paper towel.

I cut down this panel to measure 2.75" x 4.25". I mounted this onto white cardstock to leave a small border.

I then adhered this onto a piece of yellow cardstock measuring 3.75" x 5", from Whimsy Stamps Giraffe designer paper pack.

I added some yellow baker's twine from my stash and adhered the panel onto a standard A2 white card base.

I stamped the sentiment from Whimsy Stamps Penguin Gardener stamp set and die cut it into a banner using Whimsy Stamps Quick Strips die set.

I finished off the card with a yellow button from my stash.

We are sponsored this week by My Creative Scoop, a great prize as always!

Photoplay Gnome for the Holidays - 4th of July

As soon as I saw Photoplay's gnome collections I knew I HAD to have them all!
With 4th of July coming round the corner, I decided to make mini treat bags and cards for my children's first holiday as US Citizens!
This Gnome for the Holidays - 4th of July 12x12 collection is just adorable, and currently available in the 7KidsCrafts store.

For my daughter's gifts, I used the new Round Treat Box die from Queen & Company to create the cute little handbag style treat bag, along with the stickers in the 12x12 collection.

I stamped the cute lady gnome using the coordinating stamp set and colored her in using my prismacolor pencils. I then fussy cut her out.

I created the card using a combination of the photoplay papers, and coordinating stamp set. I finished off the card with some die cut stars and bakers twine from my stash.

For my son's gifts, I used Lawn Fawn's Pillow Box die to create the gift, and used the stickers in the 12x12 collection to decorate.

I stamped the cute gnome and rocket images using the coordinating stamp set, colored them in with my prismacolor pencils and then fussy cut them out.

I used a combination of the stickers and papers to create the card, finishing it off with some white gel pen detailing.

There are so many other Photoplay gnome collections in the 7KidsCraftsStore that are just as cute - for thanksgiving, Christmas, Halloween and more!

Thanks for looking.

Squidy Pals CAS set of cards

I used the adorable Squidy Pals from Stamping Bella to create a quick and easy, CAS style, set of cards. This set is currently unavailable in the 7KidsCrafts store! but there are lots of Stamping Bella sets (including the dinosaurs) in the store which can be used in the same way.

I colored all images in with my prismacolor pencils and fussy cut them out.

I used stencils from Altenew, Paper Smooches and Ranger with distress oxide inks for my backgrounds.

I stamped the sentiment using Stamping Bella's Adventure Sentiment set directly onto the panels.

These were then adhered onto mini 3.75" x 3.75" card bases in matching colors.

The images were popped up on foam dots. A super easy set of adorable, fun cards.

Make sure you check out the 7KidsCrafts store as they have lots of new goodies including more Stamping Bella goodies!

Cute Card Thursday - Summer

Our theme at Cute Card Thursday this week is 'Summer'.
As always, we welcome your own interpretation.

Another cute digital stamp from Whimsy Stamps. This is a PollyCraft digital stamp called 'Nipper'.

I printed out the image and colored him in with my prismacolor pencils. I then fussy cut him out. I decided to put him on a more modern seaside background for a change.

I used Whimsy Stamps Mermaid 6x6 paper pad for all of the designer papers.

I cut the background wavy blue panel measuring 4" x 5.25". I cut the sun panel measuring 2" x 5.25". I used an old Whimsy Stamps die to cut the scallop strips of yellow paper - I adhered these onto the back of the sunshine paper and then onto the wavy blue panel.

I used Whimsy Stamps Grass and Cloud Edger die to cut out the clouds at the top and Whimsy Stamps Stitched Border Trio die to cut out the sand. These were adhered onto the panel.

I stamped the sentiment using Whimsy Stamps Ant You Sweet stamp set and then cut it out using the Whimsy Stamps Quick Strips die. I cut a thin strip of blue DP and added them both to the top of the card.

I finished the card off by popping up the image on foam tape, and then adhering it all onto a standard A2 white card base.

We are sponsored this week by Di's Digital Stamps, a great prize as always!

SeaSun of Fun

Another cute card using Paperie Ink stamps available in the 7KidsCrafts store!

I used the too cute Season of Fun stamp set for my card - I couldn't resist the pigs!

I stamped out the images and colored them with my prismacolor pencils. I added some white gel pen detailing to a couple of the images and then fussy cut them out.

I used Whimsy Stamps Slimline Windows die along with their new Cosmic designer paper pack to create the background for this slimline card. I adhered it onto a piece of matching yellow cardstock from my stash and them onto a white slimline card base.

I stamped the sentiment from the Season of Fun stamp set and fussy around the letters, turning into a banner.

A super fun and bright card to put you in the summer mood!

Make sure you check out the 7KidsCrafts store as they have lots of new goodies including more Paperie Ink sets and Whimsy Stamps dies and stamps.

Saturday Live - Crafty Catch Up #10

I was late to the party on zoom today, and it was a quick session for me. I hadn't planned or organized anything ink advance, so this was a quick, on-the-fly card!

Today's challenge was to make a 'Thank you' card, with watercolor and rainbow. I decided to use an older favorite red rubber stamp called Jelly Bean from Whimsy Stamps.

Here is my card:

I stamped the elephant image, colored it in with my prismacolor pencils and then fussy cut it out.

The watercolor theme threw me for a loop this week! I don't do watercolor very often, if at all. But this was a good challenge and I love how it turned out! I used distress oxide inks (festive berries, carved pumpkin, squeezed lemonade, lucky clover, salty ocean, wilted violet) and watered them down to make the rainbow. I die cut the panel using the Card Builder Windows die.

I stamped the sentiment from the Dinosaur Friends stamp set and cut it out into a banner shape. I adhered this onto some of the leftover watercolor rainbow and cut it into a banner, leaving some of the color showing.
I added fun foam to the back of the rainbow panel and adhered it onto a standard A2 white card base. I then adhered the elephant directly onto the panel.

A super easy card!

I love how this turned out! I can't wait for all the challenges in next week's Virtual Whimsy Stamps retreat! :D

Stay safe. Happy crafting x

Don't Worry Be Happy - It's 5 o'clock somewhere!

So I have another new stamp company which I ADORE - Paperie Ink! Such cute, fun stamps, and now being stocked in the 7KidsCrafts store! Winner!

I used the adorable Don't Worry Be Happy stamp set for my card (this is currently unavailable in the store but there are lots of other great stamp sets).

How darn cute are these images??!! I stamped them out and colored them with my prismacolor pencils. I added some white gel pen detailing to a couple of the images and then fussy cut them out.

I used the My Favorite Things Horizontal Snow Drifts die to cut from white cardstock and Whimsy Stamps new Cosmic designer paper pack. I then inlaid the pieces into the background die and onto a standard A2 white card base.

I love all the cocktails and drinks to go with the cute critters in this set, so had to stamp the sentiment 'It's 5 o'clock somewhere' - one of our favorite sayings in this house!

Such a quick and easy card, using fun bright colors.

Make sure you check out the 7KidsCrafts store as they have lots of new goodies including more Paperie Ink sets and Whimsy Stamps dies and stamps.

Thanks for looking.

Cute Card Thursday - Masculine

Our theme at Cute Card Thursday this week is 'Masculine'.
As always, we welcome your own interpretation.

I used the super fun Toucan Surf digital image by Dustin Pike for Whimsy Stamps for my card. This was the perfect masculine image from the Whimsy Stamps Virtual Retreat weekend!

I printed out the image and colored him in with my prismacolor pencils. I added some white gel pen detailing and then fussy cut him out.

I used Whimsy Stamps Swish stencil and tumbled glass distress ink to create a subtle 'wave' background on white cardstock. I cut the panel out using Whimsy Stamps Card Builder Windows die set.

I die cut the blue circle frame from Whimsy Stamps Giraffe designer paper pack and the Whimsy Stamps Pierced and Stitched Circles die set.

I used the same Pierced and Stitched Circle dies to cut out the smaller circle and used the swish stencil again with salty ocean distress ink for the pattern.

I used a Queen & Co banner die to cut out the yellow banner, using papers from the Whimsy Stamps Giraffe paper pack.

I finished off the card by mounting it onto some blue cardstock and then onto a standard A2 white card base. I then added some enamel dots from my stash.

We are sponsored this week by All Dressed Up Stamps, a great prize as always!

Whimsy Stamps Virtual Retreat Weekend - Freebie Sloth

I gad so much fun this weekend and managed to get SO much crafting done! I love my Whimsy Stamps retreats, and while it wasn't the same as meeting up with everyone in sunny Florida (it actually SNOWED this weekend at home!!), the virtual retreat was the next best thing. Lots of fun and games, tutorials and videos, I learnt a TON!

I used the freebie sloth digital image by Krista Heij-Barber for my card.

I printed him out and colored him with my prismacolor pencils. I cut out a white cardstock panel measuring 3.75" x 5" and used the Farmhouse Greenery stencil, and peeled paint & mowed lawn distress oxides, to make the ink blended background.

I used the green paper from the Otters designer paper pad, cutting a panel measuring 4" x 5.25". I used the Pierced and Stitched Circles dies to cut out the circle frame from this panel (as you wouldn't be able to see it as it was being covered).

I stamped the sentiments using the Sleepy Sloths clear stamp set and printed out the other from the Father's Day Digital sentiment set. I used the Quick Strips die set to cut out the sentiment banners.

I adhered it all onto a standard A2 white card base.

Hope you all had a great weekend and managed to get crafty.

      Thanks for looking.
