I'm back in blog land! Now we have moved house, finally repaired the flood in the basement and the kids are back at school - I finally have time to craft! It has felt so good today - with the weather wet and miserable outside.
Here is the Stamp of the Month from From the Heart Stamps - Candy Cane for Snowman. Faith has a number of super cute snowmen in her shop at the moment with lots more to come - she has challenged herself to design 100 snowmen hopefully by Christmas! I always choose a theme for my cards each year - reindeer were the hot topic last year - I think it may be snowmen this year, so wait for all the snowmen cards and crafts to start appearing on my blog!! :)
I decided to make a gift bag with this image for a change! The stamps work so well on cards, but I love to change them up and do something a little different once in a while! I will also make a matching Christmas Card with this image at a later date.
I'm a little late to game, but I based the design loosely around sketch #114 on the blog:
I love that I can use the sketches for different purposes.
I used my Prismacolor pencils for the images;
papers and sticker embellishments from Echo Park; ribbon, snowflakes,
bling and glitter from my stash.
From The Heart Stamps is also having a DT Call!!
I thought I would give it a go - you never know right?? Fingers crossed!
I am also entering this gift bag into the following challenge:
