I'm just loving this image from From the Heart Stamps! This image IS NOT available in the regular store, but is an exclusive image (one of four) being used as a fundraiser for the owner's daughter and her ice hockey team! Such a great idea! Head on over to the blog and show your support! This 'Spectacular Birdbrain' comes with 6 sentiments too!
This image is perfect for my Husband's birthday coming up on Labor Day Weekend - good job he doesn't look at my blog!! The older he is getting the more he is needing to wear his glasses - something that he is absolutely devastated about! Thought I would hit the point home with this card - haha! I added the 'You're Spectacular' sentiment just to butter him up a little - along with the 'Just the way you are' sentiment inside the card.
I used this fortnight's sketch #116 from the blog:
I colored the image with my prismacolor pencils,
and found some matching papers in my stash.
The glasses element is from Imaginisce 'Geek is Chic' collection -
I fussy cut the glasses from a sentiment.
I added a little bling, and pierced holes to accent the circles - and VOILA!
I am also entering this card into From the Heart's DT call - why not?
You never know until you try!
Thanks for looking!
Happy Crafting x
