Cute Card Thursday - Something Fun!

Our theme at Cute Card Thursday this week is 'Something Fun!'
As always, we welcome your own interpretation.

I used this adorable rubber stamp from Whimsy Stamps

They have just added Chibitronics Circuit Packs to the Whimsy Store!
These are super awesome!!! So easy to use and gives and extra POP to your cards and crafts!

I used them to light up the birthday cupcake on my card, using a simple pressure switch.
I'm addicted!! :)
I colored the image using my prismacolor pencils, and then fussy cut it out. I used lots of other Whimsy products on this card:
Basic Border Trio Dies for the grass
Stitched Tag Dies for the tag
A little twine and card from my stash, and voila! A super cute, fun card!

Cute Card Thursday - Cool colors/tones

Our theme at Cute Card Thursday this week is 'Cool colors/tones'.
As always, we welcome your own interpretation.

Here is the color swatch I used for inspiration:

I used the super cute image from Sassy Cheryl Stamps - Bashful Ballerina.

I picked out the dark blue and teal colors from the swatch as I love this color combination. I colored the image using my prismacolor pencils. The circle and scalloped circle were dies from nestabilities, with a sentiment from From the Heart Stamps.

Welcome to Day 3 of January's release of Clear & Rubber Stamps at the Whimsy Stamps store!

I used this adorable image called 'Dragon Party' by Crissy Armstrong.

I wanted to make this card for a little boy I know, so used more masculine colors. I colored the image with my prismacolor pencils and used a variety of papers and twine from my stash.

I used the Happy Sayings Die Set along with the Happy Saying Stamp set for the sentiment inside the card.
I mounted this die onto some plain blue card stock to make it 'pop'!

Our theme at Cute Card Thursday this week is 'Buttons'.
As always, we welcome your own interpretation.

The image I chose this month from All Dressed Up Stamps is 'Little Treasure' - a super adorable image!

I colored the image using my prismacolor pencils.
I separated the sentiment from the image using my Silhouette Design Studio and placed it in the corner of the card stock layer. I added some hand stitching, buttons and then popped the image up for more emphasis.
The papers soft blue paper was from my stash.

Totally Tiffany Product Review - Karen Buddy Bag & Die-Namic Die Storage

Whimsy Stamps and Totally Tiffany teamed up and today its my turn to review two products I received from Totally Tiffany

Totally Tiffany is a company which sells all different kinds of storage and organization products for crafters, especially scrapbooking / card making. These products make it easy get organzied - something I definitely need!

There is also the chance to win some Totally Tiffany goodies! Enter the sweepstakes to win!

Chick here for the link!

This set includes:
1 Vinyl Bag w/hook & loop closure
1 Fold together box
5 Stamp Storage Pockets (5.25″ x 7.25″)
5 Double-Sided Sticky Die Storage Cards (5.25″ x 7.25″)
5 Clear Tab Reinforcer labels

I love to make cards and found this bag would be perfect to take on crafting retreats. It fits standard card sizes up to 5″x7″ and 6″x6″ easily, along with all the prepared pieces of the cards you want to make. I was even inspired to be organized that I labelled each of the tabs!!!

I used the double sided sticky storage cards to organize and arrange the die cuts I want to take with me - so much easier than throwing them all into my bag to hunt through later! The sticky cards hold the dies in place, with a plastic cover for security - just like the old fashioned photo albums (you may see a sneaky peek of some new Whimsy products coming soon! Shhh!)

The set also comes with 5 stamp storage pockets. I'm not a HUGE stamper (I much prefer digis), so I chose to use the pockets to store some ready cut dies, colored images, stencils, and embellishments I will use to make my cards. (And yes - there may be a few more of the new release products here!) It is the perfect fit for the Whimsy stamps, stencils and any embossing folders you want to use too.

I could then fit my card bases into the bag, along with a little more room for any other embellishments I decided to take - like ribbon/twine, flowers, inks....truly an all-in-one bag for a mini crop!

This set includes:
5 Pocket Cards
5 Storage Sleeves for Pocket Cards
1 Carrying Case

Pocket Card dimensions: 12″ x 6″ (not including tabs)
Carrying Case dimensions: 13″ x 7″ x 1″ (handle retracted)
Now I am on the Whimsy Design Team, my collection of dies is growing at an incredible rate! I just can't help myself when I look in the shop!!

I love the fact that the pockets cards all have 5 slots to allow you to insert any shape or size of die. They each have a storage sleeve, allowing you to store any extra die cuts along with the die.
Again, there are tabs on each pocket card which can be labelled for easy organization
(new Whimsy product alert??!!!!).

The Whimsy stamp sets also fit into the storage sleeve, so you can store your coordinating stamp and die cut sets together.

With the clear plastic design and labelling of pockets, you can see your dies, stamps, and stencils super quick and easy. It is lightweight and easy to transport to crops, keeping your products organized for easy use.

Thank you Totally-Tiffany for the opportunity to explore these products! I love them both! I've got the organization bug now - I'm headed back to the shop!

Please checkout the Totally-Tiffany website for their huge assortment of organizing and storage products, classes, testimonials and a link to their blog.

Don't forget.....the Whimsy January Rubber and Clear Release starts Wednesday!
There will be lots of new Rubber and Clear Stamps as well as Dies and a few things new.

Thanks for looking!

Whimsy Stamps January Digital Release

Welcome to Day 1 of January's release of Digital Stamps at the Whimsy Stamps store!

I used this adorable image called 'Am I Forgiven?' by Crissy Armstrong.

I also used the sentiment from 'Cat & Dog Sentiments', digital papers from the Fresh Rose collection and the stitched circle die set. I made the paw print background paper using the Cat & Dog sentiment set - using my silhouette to highlight and copy the paw prints.

I colored the image using my Prismacolor pencils, and then fussy cut it out. I popped it up onto the stitched circle. I used my silhouette to make the paw print background paper and paired it with the wood grain paper from the fresh rose digital paper collection. The sentiment was from the cat & dog digital sentiments, finished off with a few brads to match.

You have just got to see what the rest of the Whimsy Digi Designer Divas have created with the digi’s. Go check out the Whimsy Stamps & Inspiration Facebook Page and leave them a little love.

Our theme at Cute Card Thursday this week is 'What's New?'.
As always, we welcome your own interpretation.

I used this super cute (and new to me!) rubber stamp from Whimsy Stamps
'Princess' by Sylvia Zet.

I colored the image using my prismacolor pencils, and then cut out the circle using the stitched circle die set from Whimsy Stamps. I paired this with Nestabilities scalloped circle die.
I used the scalloped border die from Whimsy Stamps Basic Border Trio Dies, and the sentiment is cut from Whimsy Stamps Brush Script Lowercase Alphabet Dies.
The papers, twine, enamel dots and flowers are from my stash.
