A couple more cards to brighten your day!

Here are a couple more Gnome cards to brighten your day! They both use Dustin Pike's Beach Gnome stamp set for Whimsy Stamps.

For the first card, I stamped the image and colored it in with my prismacolor pencils. I then fussy cut it out.

I used Whimsy Stamps Build an Island die set along with Echo Park papers to create my beach scene. I also used Whimsy Stamps Card Builder Windows die to cut out the base panel.

The sentiment was stamped using Whimsy Stamps Beach Retreat stamp set.

For the second card, I stamped the image and colored it in with my prismacolor pencils. I then fussy cut it out.

I used Echo Park paper for the layers on my card, along with Whimsy Stamps Pierced and Stitched Circle die set.

I stamped the sentiment using Whimsy Stamps Bold Statements stamp set.

A couple of fun cards to make us smile and get us through these tough times.

Thinking of faraway places!

Sitting here at home watching the snow falling for the last 4 days, I decided I needed to think of faraway places! I decided to color up the Beach Gnome digital set from Dustin Pike for Whimsy Stamps.

I printed out the image and colored it in with my prismacolor pencils. I then fussy cut him out.

I cut a white cardstock panel measuring 4" x 5.25" and masked off the middle panel with purple tape. I used Whimsy Stamps Making Waves stencil to ink blend the waves at the bottom of the strip and MFT's mini cloud stencil for the top.

I stamped the sentiment from Whimsy Stamps Winter Sports Dragons.

I used Whimsy Stamps Quick Strips die set to cut out some patterned paper from Echo Park's Walking on Sunshine 6x6 paper pad.

I added the panel to a standard A2 white card base and popped up the gnome on foam dots.

A cute, clean and simple card.

Hope you are all well, and we can get out to the beach sometime soon.

Take care. Thanks for looking.

Sweet November Easter gift box

Have you seen the Sweet November digital stamp release over on the 7KidsCrafts store? SO many adorable bunnies! I decided to use the Shelly Bunny image to decorate an Easter treat box.

I printed out the Shelly B bunny image and colored him in with my prismacolor pencils. I then fussy cut him out.

I used Echo Park's 'Happy Easter' paper collection to make the milk carton treat box. I used Lawn Fawn's Milk Carton die.

The sentiment and heart comes from the sticker sheet in the paper collection, mounted onto white or blue cardstock.

I popped up the bunny on foam tape and added the sentiment underneath.

I made the heart into a simple tag, using some baker's twine and a mini clothespin from my stash.

Thanks for looking and don't forget to check out more great stamps in the 7kidscrafts store.

Feel Better Soon - Whimsy Penguin

One of my favorite digital stamp sets from Whimsy Stamps is the Penguin Gardener digital stamp set. I love how versatile the images can be. I used this image from the set to create a get well soon card.

I stamped the penguin onto white cardstock and colored it in using my prismacolor pencils. I then fussy cut him out.

I used the shaker maker banner die to cut out the patterned paper banner and added some purple bakers twine to the top.

I stamped the sentiment using the everyday scripted sentiment stamp set, directly onto the white cardstock panel and added this to a purple cardstock background panel.

I popped up the banner on some foam tape and added the image on top.

This was all adhered to a standard A2 card base.

Love how this card turned out!

Happy Mother's Day UK

I loved the previous card I made using the adorable Family Time clear stamp set by Mama Elephant that I made a couple more for our Mum's in the UK (Mother's Day in the UK is today).

This is no longer available in the store but there are lots of other great stamp sets in the 7KidsCraft store - go check them out.

I stamped the images onto white cardstock and colored them it with my prismacolor pencils. I then fussy cut them out.

I used papers from Echo Park's 'Made from Scratch' 6x6 paper pad along with dies from my stash to create the scallop frame.

I cut panels of patterned cardstock from the collection. I stamped the sentiment from the Family Time stamp set onto some yellow cardstock and added it behind the frame.

I wrapped some twine around the panel and adhered it all to a standard A2 white card base.

I popped up the image on pop dots and added some Doodlebug heart sprinkles to finish the card off.

Head on over to the 7kidscraft store and see what else they have there.

Back with another creation soon.

Stamping Bella Mochi Donut Girl

I'm loving the new Mochi Girls from Stamping Bella - available in the 7kidscrafts store! This Mochi Donut Girl was my favorite!

I stamped her onto some white cardstock and colored her in with my prismacolor pencils. I added some glossy accents to the icing on the donuts and fussy cut it out when it was completely dry.

I used a Queen and Company scallop stitched rectangle die to cut out a white panel, and stamped the sentiment from the coordinating Mochi Girls sentiments stamp set.

I added this to a 'sprinkles' patterned paper panel from Doodlebug's Cream & Sugar collection and then onto a standard A2 top folding white card base.

I popped up the image with foam tape to finish the card off.

Thanks for looking.

Whimsy Stamps Bunny Chit Chat

One of the new digital stamp sets from Whimsy Stamps this month is 'Bunny Chit Chat'. Such a cute image!

I printed the image onto white cardstock and colored it in using my prismacolor pencils.

I used Whimsy Stamps Brick Pattern stencil and some pale gray ink  for the background. I wanted it to look like the window was in the house, so I was careful to stencil around the image.

I die cut the panel using Whimsy Stamps Hand Stitched Nested Rectangles die (now retired).

I used papers from my stash to cut the decorative panels.

This was all adhered to a standard A2 card base.

Love how this card turned out!

Thanks for looking.

Cute Card Thursday - Celebrate

Our theme at Cute Card Thursday this week is 'Celebrate'.
As always, we welcome your own interpretation.

I used the super cute 'Sugar' digital stamp from Whimsy Stamps.

I printed out the image and colored her in with my prismacolor pencils. I cut the panel into 3.25" square. I mounted this onto a solid pinkcardstock.

I used papers from Echo Park's Sweet Day 6x6 paper pad. I die cut some banners using Whimsy Stamps Quick Strips die set.

I cut a white panel measuring 5" x 5" and stamped the sentiment using Whimsy Stamps Bold Statements clear stamp set. I masked off the word 'birthdays' and stamped the sentiment in black ink, and then masked off the bottom portion and stamped it in pink ink.

I adhered this panel to a patterned paper measuring 5.25" x 5.25" and then onto a square card base measuring 5.5" x 5.5".

Floral designs with Doodlebug Stamps

I love all things Doodlebug, and the stamps are no exception.
I don't normally create cards with flowers, but the clean and simple design of the 'I pick you' clear stamp set really spoke to me.

This stamp set is available in the 7KidsCraft store - you need to get your hands on them before they sell out!

For this first card, I cut the gray panel to measure 3.75" x 5". I stamped the flowers down the left side of the card with VersaMark Watermark ink and heat embossed these with white embossing powder.

I also stamped the sentiment from Colorado Crafts 'Perfume Bouquet' stamp set. I used VersaMark Watermark ink and heat embossed it with clear embossing powder.

I then used Pinkfresh Studio's Sapphire, Blue Jay and Slumber ink cubes to stamp the 3 blue flowers, and the Mint cube for the leaves. I love how these turned out! I fussy cut these out and added them on top of the gray panel.

I popped the gray panel up on fun foam and added it to a standard A2 white card base. I finished the card off with some Wink of Stella and glossy accents.

My next card was super quick and easy to make.

I cut down a white to measure 3' x 4.25'. I used Pinkfresh Studio's Fresh Peach, Pale Tomato and Red Royal ink cubes to stamp the flowers and hearts in random order. I used Pinkfresh Studio's Mint and Meadow cubes to stamp the greenery.

I didn't have any matching colored cardstock, so I used the Fresh Peach ink cube to color up a piece of cardstock for the sentiment strip and colored panel behind the flower panel.

I used Avery Elle's Thanks Thanks stamp set to stamp the sentiment in VersaMark Watermark ink. I then heat embossed it with white embossing powder.

I added the panel to a standard A2 white card base, and finished the card off with some Dress my Crafts Water Droplet Heart embellishments.

Head on over to the 7kidscraft store and see what else they have there....SO many things to choose from...and they've just started selling MFT too!

Back with another creation soon.

Thanks for looking.
