Mama Elephant - Milk and Cookies for Santa

Still loving the Mama Elephant stamp release for Christmas. It is SO adorable! I used the Gingerbread Cookies stamp set for this card. I paired these stamps with the equally adorable papers from Photoplay Paper - Not a Creature was Stirring. A perfect combination.
The papers are currently available in the 7KidsCraft store along with LOTS of Mama Elephant stamp sets too!

I stamped the images and colored them with my prismacolor pencils. I fussy cut them out. I added some white gel pen detailing and some twine to make a bow round the milk bottle.

I used papers from Photoplay's Not a creature was Stirring to add pieces to the background. I stamped the gingerbread men in Veramark Watermark ink onto the plain colored cardstock to add a little tone-on-tone detailing.

It was all adhered onto a 5.5" x 5.5" white card base.

I love how cute this card came out!

Photo Play Paper Christmas Cheer

I recently attended a 3CraftChicks Virtual retreat which I LOVED yet again! This time, Joey from Photo Play Paper was representing the company and brought lots of old and new goodies to show us.

One thing I hadn't tried before was the Photo Play Paper Maker Series. During Joey's class at the retreat, we got the chance to make one of the folios. I am a lover of making mini albums anyway and this just made things 10 times easier!!

I decided to switch it up a little from the class, and used the adorable Christmas Cheer collection from Photo Play Paper.

I LOVE how this album turned out! Here are the photos of the completed album - lots of pockets, flips and flaps and even a waterfall. It can hold a TON of photos.

At the time of posting, this is all available (except the folio itself) from the 7KidsCraft store. And to make the deal even sweeter - today is the last day of the cardstock sale - buy two get one free. Grab this collection quick before it sells out!

While you are there, check out the rest of the 7KidsCraft store - she has SO many goodies to choose from!

Thanks for looking.

Dream On

My niece loves all things prince and princesses, so this card was made just for her!

I stamped the sleeping girl image from The Greeting Farm's Slumber Party stamp set. I colored her in using my prismacolor pencils, added some white gel pen detailing and then fussy cut her out.

I stamped the other characters from Lawn Fawn's Tiny Fairy Tale stamp set. I colored them in with my prismacolor pencils and fussy cut them out.

I die cut the castle using Lawn Fawn's Build-a-castle die set, using cardstock from my stash. I added some white gel pen detailing to break up the plain colors.

For the cloud 'dream' bubble, I used MFT's Mini Cloud Edges stencil along with some Shaded Lilac distress ink. I used Whimsy Stamps Grass & Cloud Edger die to make it look like a dream bubble. I used my hole punch to cut out some of the leftover purple blended paper.

I cut a white panel of cardstock measuring 3.5" x 7.75" and masked off a small section at the bottom of the panel. I used the same shaded lilac distress ink to gently blend a 'floor' on the card.

I stamped the sentiment from The Greeting Farm's Slumber Party stamp set and adhered all the pieces together. I added some bakers twine and Doodlebug hearts sprinkles to finish th card off.

The Greeting Farm's Cute Couple

This is the first time I have used any stamps from The Greeting Farm and I must say, I really like them! The images are much bigger than I thought they would be, and certainly take center stage on a card.

I used the Cute Couple stamp set for my cards. They are currently unavailable in the 7kidscraft store, although there is a very similar stamp set called Nice Couple. You should check it out - it can be used in exactly the same way as I have used the Cute Couple.

For my second card, I used the girl from the stamp set. I stamped her out and used my Prismacolor pencils to color her in. I then fussy cut her out.

For my first card, I used the boy from the stamp set. I stamped him out and used my Prismacolor pencils to color him in. I then fussy cut him out.

I decided on a simple card design for him. I used papers from Photoplay's Gnome for the Holidays Thanksgiving collection, along with Echo Park's I love Halloween papers. The sentiment was stamped using Doodlebug's Happy birthday stamp set and I added some simple hand stitching and bakers twine. This was all adhered onto a 5.5" square card base.

Again I kept this card simple. I used papers from Photoplay's Tulla and Norbert Tiny Prints collection. I stamped the sentiment from the Cute Couple stamp set and added some Doodlebug Heart sprinkles to finish the card off.

I love that I can use these images for any occasion and they are super quick and easy to color.

'Twas the Night before Christmas

I love all things Christmas, and I love mixing and matching stamp sets and papers. Using stamps for other occasions than they were designed for!

I used The Greeting Farm's Slumber Party stamp set to create this cute Christmas card. Currently available in the 7KidsCraft store.

I stamped the images and colored them in with my prismacolor pencils. I added some white gel pen detailing and fussy cut them out.

I used papers and the red sentiment strip from Photo Play Paper's Not a Creature Was Stirring collection.

The Santa Claus sentiment was stamped from the Photo Play Paper Christmas Cheer stamp set - I thought it worked perfectly win this card.

I added some bakers twine and enamel dots to finish off the card, and adhered it onto a standard A2 white top folding card base.

Cute Card Thursday - Folds

Our theme at Cute Card Thursday this week is 'Folds'.
As always, we welcome your own interpretation.

I used another one of Whimsy Stamps digital stamps - Sweet Kitties. This time I decided to make a tag, and incorporate my fold theme in with the bow.

I printed out the kitten and colored it in with my prismacolor pencils. I then fussy cut it out and added glossy accents to the nose and flowers.

I cut out a tag measuring 4" x 6" and covered it front and back with patterned paper. I used Whimsy Stamps Bizzy Bees, Pretty Pastels (now retired) and Eggstra Bunnies paper pads for this tag.

I used some ribbon and twine from my stash, and the bow was made using a VERY old die from Whimsy Stamps (now retired).

I don't normally make large tags like this, but I saw a video making these the other day and felt inspired!

We are sponsored this week by Oddball Art Co, a great prize as always!

Hope you can join us!

Halloween Kids 7KidsCraft store exclusive design!

Today I used the adorable Halloween Kids stamp set exclusively designed by 7KidsCrafts!!! They are super adorable and coordinate perfectly with all of the other sets vey 7kidscraft. I also used some elements from the Ice Cream Parlor stamp set for this card.

I stamped the images and colored them in with my prismacolor pencils. I then fussy cut them out.

I cut a white cardstock panel measuring 3.75" x 8.75" and masked off the bottom. I added some carved pumpkin distress oxide very lightly to the panel to create a floor/wall effect.

I stamped the spider web and sentiment directly onto this panel.

I added all the images onto the panel and then adhered the panel onto a slimline card base.

You Definitely made the Nice List!

Another adorable card and gift set using the cute Best Gift Ever stamp set from Mama Elephant. Again, I paired these stamps with the equally adorable papers from Photoplay Paper - Not a Creature was Stirring. A perfect combination.
Both are currently available in the 7KidsCraft store.

I stamped the images and colored them with my prismacolor pencils. I fussy cut them out.

For the card, I used papers from Photoplay's Not a creature was Stirring to add pieces to the background. Some of them were die cut using Queen & Co foundation dies. I also used Mama Elephant's Bookmark It die for theta element - cutting it in half and making it shorter. I added some bakers twine and enamel dots for interest.
It was all adhered onto a standard A2 white card base.

For the gift box, I used Lawn Fawn's scalloped treat box die with the Photoplay papers. I used Doodlebug's mini tags for the tag - stamping the sentiment and adding the colored dog iomgae from the stamp set.

I love how cute this set came out!

Cute Card Thursday - Autumn

Our theme at Cute Card Thursday this week is 'Autumn'.
As always, we welcome your own interpretation.

Some other fun digital stamps from Dustin Pike for Whimsy Stamps released this month are Dracula Dragon and Monster Dragon.

I printed out the images and colored them in with my prismacolor pencils. I then fussy cut them out.

For the ink blended background, I used faded jeans, wilted violet, carved pumpkin and fossilized amber distress inks. I then added water droplets and dabbed them off.

I used Whimsy Stamps Slimline Card Builder die to cut out the panel.

I used a very old Martha Stewart punch from my stash to create the spooky fence.

I wanted it to look light the flashlight was shining on the Dracula Dragon, and so added some vellum and darken the base of the pumpkin (as if it is shadow).

I printed out the sentiment from the new Whimsy Stamps Haunting Halloween sentiment digital set. I printed directly onto some very old Whimsy Stamps Christmas Cheer paper. I fussy cut this into a banner shape.

I adhered the panel onto a black slimline card base.

We are sponsored this week by Di's Digital Stamps, a great prize as always!

7KidsCraft September Instagram Hop

I am super excited to be a part of this, and to be able to use the La Catrina stamp set designed by 7KidsCrafts!!! They are available today!

This is a stand-alone stamp set but is adorable for Halloween and Die de los Muentos - Day of the Dead - cards.

I stamped the images and colored them in with my prismacolor pencils. I then fussy cut them out.

I stamped the skulls from the La Catrina stamp set onto a panel of grey cardstock, using Versamark Watermark ink, and heat embossed it with clear embossing powder.

I stamped the sentiment using Versamark Watermark ink onto black cardstock and then heat embossed it with white embossing powder.

This was all adhered onto a standard A2 white card base. I love the way the image pops with color on the grey background.

Another great stamp set and I can't wait to see what else 7KidsCrafts have in store for us!

Thank you Teacher card and decor

I love to use products for things other than they are designed for. I love to show the versatility in products.

For these projects I used Thanksgiving papers and pet glasses dies!

I used a Foundations Decor wood apple decor piece, which I decorated with papers from Photoplay Paper's Gnome for the Holidays Thanksgiving 6x6 paper pad. I stamped the thank you sentiment from Doodlebug Designs Many Thanks sentiment stamp. I cut this into a banner and added it to the decor with some twine from my stash.

I used the same paper collection for the card. I die cut the glasses from some green patterned paper and added it to a small die cut white cardstock rectangle. I used dies from Queen & Co for the scalloped border also. I used Heffy Doodle's Teach Me Words stamp set for the sentiment. I adhered it all to a standard A2 black card base and finished off the card with some enamel dots from my stash.
