Reverse Confetti Stock Your Stash

I loved this theme this month, from Reverse Confetti - Hello/Just Because. You can never have too many of these type of cards.

I used 'The Bear Up There' stamp set, along with the Celebrate Tag confetti cuts to create a mini slimline card this month.

I have packed up most of craft room for a move to North Carolina in 4 weeks, so my current supplies are limited!

I used some papers from Echo Park to paper piece onto the balloons, and stamped the sentiment from a Whimsy Stamps set.

I'm new to making mini slimline cards, but I love how this card turned out.

Thanks for looking.

My Favorite Things - Sketch #547

I've been have fun playing along with sketches and challenges lately. I used sketch #547:

Here is my card:

I stamped the image from the Festive Old Friends stamp set and colored him in with my Spectrum Noir Tri-blend markers. I then fussy cut him out.

I used blue and yellow inks to blend a background and, to follow the sketch, I used the Slimline Slide In dies - taking the slimline rectangle die to cut the ink blended panel.

I stamped the sentiments onto the panel and then cut the strips to copy the sketch.

I added the panel/strips to a white cardstock panel and then onto a coordinating blue panel. This was then adhered onto a standard A2 white card base.

I added some thin white strip stickers to the top of the blended panel and popped up the image on foam squares.

Thanks for looking.

My Favorite Things - Sketch #546 & Color Challenge #167

It's been a while since I have joined in with one of the MFT challenges - I this time I managed to combine 2 of them!

I found a little downtime to play today, free from packing boxes or organizing our house move.

I used sketch #546:

Along with the current color challenge #167:

to design my card.

I stamped the images from the Sprinkling you with Love stamp set, and colored them in with my Spectrum Noir Tri-blend markers. I then fussy cut them out.

To follow the sketch, I used the Slimline Slide In dies - taking the individual circle to die cut the panel.

I used papers from Your Crafty Happy Place 6x6 paper pad - adding the patterned background panel and stamping the sentiment directly onto the patterned paper.

I used Gina K Seaglass ink for the raindrops (most of inks are now packed in boxes!!) and used the ink to create a coordinating, colored swatch to put my sentiment banner on.

I popped up the images on foam dots, and then adhered the panel onto a standard A2 card base.

I love how this design and color combo turned out.

Thanks for looking.

Happy Father's Day!

Happy Father's Day!

I love this Colorado Craft 'Snuggles' stamp set and I thought it was perfect for a Father's Day card.

I stamped the image and colored them in using my Spectrum Noir Tri-Blend markers. I then fussy cut them out.

I used papers from Honey Bee Stamps Great Outdoor 6x6 paper pad, along with the coordinating enamel dots. I stamped the sentiment from the Snuggles stamp set.

I love how this turned out - and I hope my Dad does too!
