Whimsy Stamps Fur Ever Friends

I haven't ever made an animal sympathy card before, but these dies and sentiments from the Whimsy Stamps store are just so adorable!

I used the 'Furever Friends die set' to cut out the dog and heart-paw print from the red cardstock. I then backed this in black.
I cut out the heart shape using the Whimsy Stamps 'Stitched Hearts Die Set'.

I stamped the paw print 'road' using the 'Forever in our Hearts' clear stamp set.
The sentiment was stamped using the 'Rainbow Bridge' clear stamp set.

I added a little white gel pen on the silhouettes to add a little depth to the shapes.

MFT Sketch #334

I love this elf clear stamp set from My Favorite Things.
This set is called 'Santa's Elves' and has so many images and sentiments to choose from you can make an endless number of Christmas cards.

I used the current sketch #334 for inspiration:

I colored elf and xmas tree images with my prismacolor pencils. I then fussy cut the images out. I added some red glitter glue and a sequin star to the tree. The elf has a small bell on his hat!
I cut out the border using the 'stitched scallop edges' die.
The window was cut out using the 'square peek-a-boo window' die.
The sentiment is from the same set, which I cut out as a banner using the 'fishtail banner strips' die.
I added a little baker's twine to finish the card off.

Whimsy Stamps English Gentlemen

I used these great digital 'English Gentleman' sentiments and digital papers to make a card for my Father-In-Law.

I distressed the edges with inks for a more vintage feel to the card.
I used the digital papers from the english gentlemen set along with the main image and sentiment from the matching set.
I added some enamel dots for a little more interest.

Cute Card Thursday - CAS

Our theme at Cute Card Thursday this week is 'Clean & Simple'.
As always, we welcome your own interpretation.

I used this adorable image from this month's Clear & Rubber stamp release over at the Whimsy Stamps store - 'Kitten Flowers' by Lee Holland.

I colored the image using my prismacolor pencils.
The sentiment is from the 'Penguin Gardener' clear stamp set
at Whimsy Stamps.
I used the stitched circle die set (retired) for a little more interest.
The colored paper is from my stash.

We are sponsored this week by Bugaboo Stamps, a great prize as always!

Stamping Bella - COSMObella

I love the stamps and sentiments from Stamping Bella Stamps - they are so much fun and great to color.

I recently purchased 'COSMObella' and colored her up with my prismacolor pencils.

I used the current inspiration photo as a guide to my design.

The COSMObella image worked out perfectly and I decided to do a wine tag instead of a card for a change!

I colored the image using my prismacolor pencils and then fussy cut it out.
I used my silhouette to cut out the tag and wine bottle from papers from My Mind's Eye.
I made the frame and backed it with vellum, adding a few sequins behind it for added interest.
I then drew stitching around the border using a white gel pen and adhered the image on top.
The sentiment is from the set - stamped in Versamark watermark ink and then heat embossed with white embossing powder.

Whimsy Stamps - For the Men

This is one of my all time favorite clear stamp sets - For The Men from Whimsy Stamps.
It has SO many great sentiments to mix and match for any occasion.

I wanted to do a simple subway art style card using the different sentiments, highlighting the occasion in red. I used Versamark's watermark stamp pad and red embossing powder to highlight the father's day sentiment - I then heat embossed it.
I added some twine and 'Christmas Cheer' red enamel dots for added interest and texture.

CAS-ual Fridays Sketch Challenge #174 - Sketch

I decided to use the 'RAD 2' stamp set for this card.

I used a Bo Bunny flower stamp set to stamp the background flowers in a simple grey ink. I think cut out the background using Whimsy Stamps 'Card Builder - Many Thanks die set'.
I stamped the sentiment using the RAD 2 Stamp set, heat embossed it with white embossing powder, and then cut out the banner shape.
The papers are from Echo Park.

I am entering this card into the current challenge on the CAS-ual Fridays challenge blog.

Whimsy Stamps May Clear & Rubber Stamps Release

Here is another of Whimsy Stamps release of Clear & Rubber Stamps for the month of May - this is one of the newly released die set - Peony flower die.

I used the Whimsy Stamps 'Christmas Cheer' papers to cut out the flower and leaves - even the Christmas papers can be used for other occasions!
I doubled up each layer to create a fuller flower and finished it off with an enamel dot from the 'Christmas Cheer' collection also. The leaves are cut from the same collection and folded a little for extra dimension.
I used the card builder - 'many thanks' die set for the white background and added it on top of more Christmas Cheer paper.
The sentiment is from the 'Bold Statements' clear stamp set.

I love this cute gnome clear stamp set from My Favorite Things.
This set is called 'You Gnome Me' and has so many images and sentiments to choose from you can make an endless number of different cards.

I used the current sketch #333 and the current color challenge #69 for inspiration:

I stamped the gnome image and colored it with my prismacolor pencils. I then fussy cut the image out.
I stamped the sentiment onto the colored cardstock and arranged them as the sketch challenge, adding a little baker's twine in between for dimension and texture. I then 'popped' the image up on pop dots for a simple CAS style card.

Stamping Bella - Santa Chick & His Helpers

I just love these chicks, and the Santa chick with his helpers is no exception!

I cut out a tag from kraft cardstock using the Whimsy Stamps stitched tag die set. I added a strip of striped paper to the edge, added some drawn on white stitching and 'popped' up the image on top.
The sentiment is from CAS-ual Fridays stamps - Naughty or Nice clear stamp set. (this is currently on sale as it is retiring - grab it quick!)
The papers, twine and enamel dots are from my stash.

Welcome to May's release of Clear & Rubber Stamps at the Whimsy Stamps store!

I love these cute penguins having fun! They are from Crissy Armstrong's collection - 'Penguins Pool Party'.

I wanted to keep the background simple to make the image pop.
I used Whimsy Stamps 'Everyday Mini Sentiment' stamp set which I heat embossed with white embossing powder. I cut out the tab using the Tab 1 die (retired).
