Cute Card Thursday - Banish the Blues

*FOR SALE - email me (found under my complete profile).
** Albums of same design can be made to order - all themes considered.

Our theme at Cute Card Thursday this week is 'Banish the Blues'.
As always, we welcome your own interpretation.

I have caught the 'mini album' bug recently and am loving watching all the youtube videos and trying out the different design. I love this design for a mini album and would like to thank My Sister's Scrapper for the tutorial on this - her video can be found here:

This album measures 6" x 6" with a 3" spine. The cover is made from medium weight chipboard.
I used Echo Park's 'Bundle of Joy A New Addition' and 'Sweet Baby Boy' collection packs along with ribbon from my stash.

The first double page spread consists of lots of areas to journal and add pictures. The flaps are magnetized so stay closed and the stickers on the edges of the photo mats have been left open so that you are able to slide your photos behind them.

The second page has a spot for journaling and some cut apart cards for adding photos behind a belly band. More photos can fit behind this band.

The next page has another magnetized flap which opens to reveal another photo mat and journal spot. The following page is made up of 2 pocket flaps, containing 2 pull outs for journaling and photos, with another photo mat opposite.

There is another magnetized flap which opens to reveal a photo mat and journal spot. The opposite page has a twine fastening to a cute flap booklet.

There is another belly band with cut apart cards for photos and journalling, with more room to add photos behind the band. The small flap on the opposite page is magnetized and open to reveal a small pocket.

The final page consists of a flap containing 2 tags, a photo mat and journalling spot. A pocket and tick spot completes the album on the final page.

All pages contain a pocket to the side, containing a pull out for more memories.

There is plenty of room in this album to add photographs and journalling to cherish all of those precious memories of your special addition to the family.

We are sponsored this week by Di's Digi Stamps, a great prize as always!

Hope you can join us!

Thanks for looking.
Happy crafting x

  1. I am very interested in creating a baby boy infant book for my grandson coming in June. My daughter is into the universe, stars, but with a twist Polynesian navigators and their boats. The sailors navigated by the stars and the fish, turtles, dolphins and sea life in the ocean. Her colors are blues, greens, ocean colors.Do you have a basic kit I can purchase and work with it to create the book she is longing for? This is her first baby.
