My last Christmas cards of 2019

Here are the last of the Christmas cards I made this year. A little late I'm afraid, but only just able to photograph and type after hand surgery.

These are all stamps from Whimsy Stamps and I think they are my favorite releases this year. They were all colored using prismacolor pencils.

I love the Ellie Elephant stamps by Crissy Armstrong. This card uses Ellie the Special Reindeer and papers from Echo Park.

The next is Ellie's Bauble, Christmas Ellie-ments and papers from Echo Park.

I also love the newly released owl sets - there are so many to choose from! This card uses one of the owls from Happy Owlidays Too and papers from Doodlebug.

Cute Card Thursday - Anything Goes

Our theme at Cute Card Thursday this week is 'Anything Goes'. 
As always, we welcome your own interpretation. 

I used another cute image from CC Designs for Whimsy Stamps - Iggy.

I printed out the image onto white cardstock and colored her in with my prismacolor pencils. I used some tumbled glass distress ink with the Whimsy Stamps Polka Dot Stencil to create a very subtle snowfall background. I cut this out and rounded the edges of the panel.

I used Whimsy Stamps Gingham Background stamp with some VersaFine CLAIR 'Glamorous' ink to create the red background panel.

I stamped the sentiment from the Whimsy Stamps Frosty Hugs stamp set and die cut the banner out with the Whimsy Stamps Quick Strips die set. The green banner and oval are die cut using papers from my stash and the same die set.

This was adhered to silver, and red cardstock and then all of this was adhered to a standard A2 white card base.

Cute Card Thursday - Anything Goes

Our theme at Cute Card Thursday this week is 'Anything Goes'. 
As always, we welcome your own interpretation. 

I used the adorable 'Snowy' digital image from Whimsy Stamps for this card.

I printed out the image and colored her in with my prismacolor pencils. I then fussy cut her out.

I used papers from Lawn Fawn's Snow Day 6x6 paper pad.

I cut out the red cardstock using Whimsy Stamps Card Builder Windows die set. The banner was cut out using the Whimsy Stamps Shaker Maker Banner die set.

I used my We R Memory Keepers tab punch and then pieced the card together, cutting the other cardstock pieces out with my paper trimmer.

This was all adhered to a standard A2 white card base.

Whimsy Stamps December Digital Stamp Release

It is the start of the new Whimsy Stamps digital release for December - another great release!

I used the adorable 'Frosty' image by CC designs, available from the Whimsy Store.

I printed the image onto white cardstock and used my prismacolor pencils to color him in.

The background came from the recent whimsy retreat. It uses the Snowflake Frame rubber stamp, stamped with VersaMark Watermark ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder. I cut this down to a 5" x 3 3/4" panel.

I used Whimsy Stamps Frosty Hugs clear stamp set to stamp the sentiment with VersaFine CLAIR Nocturne (black) ink. I cut this out using the Shaker Maker Banner die set. I added some red cardstock and used a white gel pen to add some detail.

I added the banner to the snowflake panel and added some snowflake brads from my stash. I then adhered it to a standard A2 white card base.

I finished the card off by popping up the image using some foam dots.

Whimsy Stamps December Digital Stamp Release

It is the start of the new Whimsy Stamps digital release for December - another great release!

I used the adorable 'Christmas Hamster' image , available from the Whimsy Store.

I printed the image onto white cardstock, along with the black border, and used my prismacolor pencils to color him in.

I used Whimsy Stamps You're My Jolly stamp set to stamp the sentiment with VersaFine CLAIR Nocturne (black) ink. I cut the panel out and adhered it to a standard A2 white card base.

I finished the card off with some gems from the Sparkletz Snow Crystals set.

A quick and easy CAS style card.
