Cute Card Thursday - No Patterned Papers

Our theme at Cute Card Thursday this week is 'No Patterned Papers'. 
As always, we welcome your own interpretation. 

I used the adorable 'Breeze' digital image by CC Designs available at Whimsy Stamps. 

I printed this image onto white cardstock and colored her in with my prismacolor pencils. I then fussy cut her out.

I used some blue and green papers from my stash, along with Whimsy Stamps Stitched Cloud, and Grass and Cloud Edger dies to create the background. I used Lawn Fawn's 'Say Cheese again' die set to cut out the polaroid.

The sentiment was stamped from Whimsy Stamps Bold Banners sentiment stamp (now retired), using lucky clover distress oxide. This was then popped up onto the the polaroid using foam dots.

This was all adhered onto a standard A2 white card base.

I just love this adorable 'Sleepy Sloths' stamp set from  Whimsy Stamps and it worked absolutely PERFECTLY with Photoplay's 'Snuggle Up' boy collection of papers. It is a digital stamp for you to resize and color to your hearts content.

I stamped the adorable sloths, moon and star and colored them in with my prismacolor pencils. I then fussy cut them out.

All pages have plenty of room for photographs and journalling, with lots of flaps, photo mats and journal cards to record all those precious memories.

The back cover is left very simple with a spot to add a date, or simple message if it is a gift.

Cute Card Thursday - Bright Colors

Our theme at Cute Card Thursday this week is 'Bright Colors'. 
As always, we welcome your own interpretation. 

I LOVE the CCDesigns images available at Whimsy Stamps. 

This fun image is called Bloom.

I printed the newly released Bloom image onto white cardstock and colored her in with my prismacolor pencils. I then fussy cut her out. 

I used a variety of bright colored, patterned paper strips from Echo Park's 'Let's Be Mermaids' paper collection to make a bright and colorful background.

I added a sentiment sticker from the Echo Park collection and finished the card off with some enamel dots.

I stamped the sentiment onto the yellow cardstock and cut it into a thin strip. I then put the card together onto a standard A2 white card base.

Whimsy Stamps Caregiver Hugs

A brand new stamp set designed by Deb Davis for Whimsy Stamps. A stamp set to show support for those who give of themselves to care for their own loved ones, and/or for other's loved ones.

Unfortunately, it's a fact of life that most of us, if not all of us, will have Cancer affect our lives in some shape or form. These new sets are so sweet and will be the perfect thing to reach for when you might need to send some encouragement.

This is such an adorable stamp set called Caregiver Hugs.  I can see it being used A LOT!

The cute bears are just too cute! I colored them in with my prismacolor pencils and then fussy cut them out.

I kept this card pretty simple, using papers from My Minds Eye, allowing the image and sentiment to be the focus.

I love how his turned out!

Cute Card Thursday - Pink

Our theme at Cute Card Thursday this week is 'Pink'. 
As always, we welcome your own interpretation. 

The 'Wee One' image by Sylvia Zet is one of my all time favorite baby images found in the Whimsy Stamps store. This can be purchased as a digital image or rubber stamp.

I printed the image onto white cardstock and colored her in with my prismacolor pencils. I then fussy cut her out. 

I stamped the sentiment from the Whimsy Stamps Jungle Babies stamp set onto patterned cardstock from my stash, using VersaFine CLAIR (Nocturne) black ink.

I used pink and grey patterned papers and ribbon from my stash to create the background. This was all adhered onto a standard A2 white card base.

Whimsy Stamps July Digital Release - Penguin and Bear

It is the start of the new Whimsy Stamps digital release for July - another awesome release!

I used the super cute Penguin and Bear image by Crissy Armstrong! 
You all know I love the penguins, but add a bear to it too and it's irresistible!

I printed the image onto white cardstock and used my prismacolor pencils to color them in. I then used Whimsy Stamps Pierced and Stitched circle dies to cut the image out.

I used a slightly larger scallop circle die from my stash to add a simple border.

The papers I used were from My Mind's Eye 'Blink of an Eye' 6x6 paper pad.

I added some yellow enamel dots from Whimsy Stamps It's a Party and adhered the base to a standard white A2 card base.
