Cute Card Thursday - Gold

Our theme at Cute Card Thursday this week is 'Gold'. 

As always, we welcome your own interpretation. 

I used the 'Glisten & Glow' 6x6 paper pad from Recollections for this card.

I used My Favorite Things Collage Cover Up die to cut out the patterned paper squares and white grid background. I cut out a piece of black/gold cardstock measuring 4 1/4" by 5 1/2" and pieced the grid and squares back together on top.

The tag was a cut apart from the paper pack. I added some gold ribbon and twine and popped it up on top of the grid.

This was all adhered onto a standard A2 white card base.

Cute Card Thursday - Winter

Our theme at Cute Card Thursday this week is 'Winter'. 
As always, we welcome your own interpretation. 

I used an old favorite stamp of mine - 'Swanky Snowdudes' from Paper Smooches. I love the fun images and fonts for the sentiments in this set.

I stamped the images onto white cardstock, colored them with prismacolor pencils and aded some white gel pen detailing on them. I then fussy the images out.

I used a Whimsy Stamps circle die and Whimsy Stamps Shaker Maker Banner die to cut out the patterned paper. The patterned paper is from this month's Whimsy Stamps Paper Door kit. 

I added some bakers twine to the banner and adhered it to the blue cardstock panel. I stamped the sentiment from the same Paper Smooches stamp set.

I popped up the circle on foam tape and added the snowmen.

I adhered all of this to a standard A2 white card base.

Without further ado, let me share one of the projects I created with this amazing kit.

There are so many fun possibilities with these stamps, dies, papers and goodies!

I stamped the images onto white cardstock using VersaFine CLAIR Nocturne (black) ink and colored them in with my prismacolor pencils. I used the coordinating dies to cut them out.

I used the Pierced and Stitched Circles die and the Shaker Maker Banner die to cut out the 2 white patterned cardstock pieces. I wrapped some red bakers twine around the banner.

I cut a panel of blue patterned cardstock measuring 4" x 5 1/4", and stamped the sentiment from the kit at the bottom.

I adhered the banner piece to the base and then popped up the stitched circle on foam tape. I then added the two owls.

I adhered the whole panel onto a standard A2 white card base.

Cute Card Thursday - Festive

Our theme at Cute Card Thursday this week is 'Festive'. 
As always, we welcome your own interpretation. 

I used Whimsy Stamps 'Candy' digital image by CC Designs for this theme. I just love the candy canes!

I printed out the image and colored her in with my prismacolor pencils. I then fussy cut her out.

I stamped the sentiment from Whimsy Stamps Penguins Winter Adventure stamp set, onto patterned papers from Lawn Fawn's Really Rainbow Christmas paper pad.

I used Whimsy Stamps Shaker Builder - Sweetest Birthday die set (now retired) to cut the red scalloped frame.

I adhered the elements, adding some bakers twine, to the base of a standard A2 white card base. All papers are from Lawn Fawn's Really Rainbow Christmas 6x6 paper pad.

7KidsCraftsStore Guest Designer - Echo Park & Sugar Pea Designs

I'm back with another project for 7KidsCraftStore, using Sugar Pea Designs  'Gnome for Christmas' stamp set paired with Echo Park's 'A Cozy Christmas' 6x6 paper pad. 

I stamped the gnomes and presents using the Sugar Pea Designs 'Gnome for Christmas' stamp set onto white cardstock and colored them in using my prismacolor pencils. I then fussy cut them out.

I cut a white cardstock panel measuring 4" x 5 1/2" and used Lawn Fawn's 'Outside In Stitched Scalloped Circle Stackables' die to cut out the window.

I adhered some of the patterned paper from Echo Park's 'A Cozy Christmas' 6x6 paper pad behind the window. I then adhered this onto some red cardstock from the EP paper collection, measuring 4 1/8" x 5 3/8".

I stamped the sentiment from the 'Gnome for Christmas' stamp set directly onto the white panel.

I cut a slit in the hand of the gnome on the right to place the present in his hand. I then adhered the gnomes and presents to the card.

I then adhered all of this to a standard A2 white card base.

7KidsCraft Store Guest Designer - The Stamping Village & Catherine Pooler

I'm back with another project for 7KidsCraftStore, using The Stamping Village 'Holiday Seals' along with Catherine Pooler's 'Patterns & Pine' 6x6 paper pad.

I stamped the images onto white cardstock and colored them in with my prismacolor pencils. I used a stitched circle die to cut them out.

I used Spellbinders Petite Scalloped Circles Large nestabilitiles die set to cut out the patterned paper form the Catherine Pooler patterned paper. I adhered these together.

I used Lawn Fawn's pillow box die to cut out the treat boxes and filled them with Hershey Kisses.

I wrapped some ribbon from my stash around the box and adhered the images on top using foam tape.

Whimsy Stamps November Digital Stamp Release

It is the start of the new Whimsy Stamps digital release for November - another great release!

I used the adorable 'Tawny' image by CC Designs, available from the Whimsy Store.

I printed the image onto white cardstock and used my prismacolor pencils to color her in. I then fussy cut her out.

I used Whimsy Stamps Peekaboo Window 2 die for the background, and used it cut out the white cardstock grid and the patterned papers from the Whimsy Stamps Tiger paper pad. I adhered these pieces onto a piece of brown cardstock cut slightly larger.

I used the Whimsy Stamps Tombstone Tag die to cut out the 'tag' and punched a hole in the top. I added some gold ribbon and twine and popped this up with foam tape onto the front of the panel.

I popped up the image on foam tape and then adhered it all to a standard A2 white card base.

7KidsCraftStore Guest Designer - Sugar Pea & Carta Bella

I'm back with another project for 7KidsCraftStore, using Sugar Pea Designs  'Gnome for Christmas' stamp set paired with Carta Bella's 'Snow Much Fun' 6x6 paper pad. Even though the paper pad is no longer available in the store, there are a TON more paper pads you cold pair with this stamp set to make these projects.

For the first card, I started by stamping the gnome and then I masked him off. I then stamped the sled. I stamped the cup on a separate piece of white cardstock, and stamped the hat onto patterned paper.

I colored the images using my prismacolor pencils. I paper pieced the hat onto the gnome and cut a small slit around the gnomes hand to slip the cup behind. I fussy cut this image out.

I used the Carta Bella paper to create the background pieces.

I stamped the sentiment from the 'Gnome for Christmas' stamp set and cut it into a fishtail banner.

This was all adhered to a standard A2 white card base.

I made another card using the same 'Gnome for Christmas' stamp set.

I stamped the image and colored it in with my prismacolor pencils. I also stamped the present separately and cut around his thumb to add the present image into his hand.

I used Lawn Fawn's 'Reverse Stitched Scalloped Rectangle Windows' die to cut out the frame. I used some of the Carta Bella patterned paper and white glitter cardstock to create the background. I stamped and colored the trees, added some glitter and added them to the background.

I stamped the sentiment using the 'Gnome for Christmas' stamp set and adhered this panel onto a standard A2 white card base.

I then decided to make a couple of gift tags.

I used a die from my stash (I can't remember where this is from as it was just loose in my box!)

For the tag on the left, I cut out the tag and flipped the circle over (this is the reverse side of the patterned paper). 

I fussy cut the mitten from one of the cut aparts, added a small border strip and stamped the sentiment from the 'Gnome for Christmas' stamp set.

I added some ribbon, twine and a bell to finish the tag off.

For the tag on the right, I stamped the cup image from the 'Gnome for Christmas' stamp set onto acetate using stain black ink. I then adhered this in between 2 tag die cuts.

I stamped the sentiment and added some foil strips and enamel dots.

Again I added some ribbon, twine and a bell to finish the tag off.
