Cute Card Thursday - Critters

Our theme at Cute Card Thursday this week is 'Critters'. 
As always, we welcome your own interpretation. I took 'green' to mean nature/plants rather than the color.

I made this card during the Scrapbook & Cards Crop and Create Event back in March.

I cut a white panel of heavy white cardstock measuring 4" x 5.25". I used the Hero Arts Through the Woods Window Fancy die to cut out the window in the panel.

I die cut the deer using Sunny Studio's Rustic Winter die set, and adhered it onto the back of the window panel.

I added some patterned paper from my stash behind the window and adhered it all onto a standard A2 white card base.

I stamped the sentiment using MFT's Deepest Sympathy stamp set, using some coordinating colored ink.

Cute Card Thursday - Red/White/Blue

Our theme at Cute Card Thursday this week is 'Red/White/Blue' 
As always, we welcome your own interpretation. 

I used the adorable Amazing Airplane dies from My Favorite Things for this card.

I die cut the airplane from Doodlebug's Land that I Love 6x6 paper pad and pieced it together. I stamped the bear from MFT's Missing You Every Single Day stamp set.

I used MFT's Banner Flags die and Banner Day Sentiment set, finishing it off with an enamel heart from Doodlebug.

I used the Envelope Builder die set from Trinity Stamps to create the blue frame using cardstock from my stash. I used Mama Elephant's Slim Card Basics creative cuts to cut out the vellum and cardstock clouds. I added some Gina K Ocean Mist dye ink to add some color to the clouds.

Let's Party

I used the super fun 'Let's Party' digital stamp from Whimsy Stamps for this card.

I printed out the image onto white cardstock and colored it in with my Spectrum Noir Tri-blend markers. I then fussy cut her her out.

I saw this card design on Facebook by Lien Ricou for Crafty Meraki designs and thought it would work perfectly for this image.

I went through my stash and found patterned paper in rainbow colors. I trimmed them randomly to get different thicknesses and added them to the edge of a white cardstock panel measuring 4" x 5.25".

I stamped the sentiment using Whimsy Stamps Birfday Party Dragons clear stamp set. 

I added the panel onto a standard A2 white card base and added the image directly on top. I finished off the card by adding some black dots to mimic what would have been on the original digital stamp.

Cute Card Thursday - Embellish

Our theme at Cute Card Thursday this week is 'Embellish' 
As always, we welcome your own interpretation. 

I used the adorable digital stamp 'Pigtail Gabby' from Whimsy Stamps for my card.

I printed out the image into white cardstock and colored her in using my Spectrum Noir Tri-Blend markers. I then fussy cut her out.

I cut a white panel of cardstock measuring 4"x5.25". I used a circle die and cut out a stencil from a scrap of cardstock. I used this stencil along with the Whimsy Stamps Mini Clouds background stamp and tumbled glass distress oxide to create the circle scene.

I used Whimsy Stamps Grass and Cloud Edger die to cut some green patterned paper from my stash. I added this to my panel and then added some bakers twine to embellish my card.

I added some foam to the back of the panel and popped the panel up on a standard A2 white card base.

I finished off the card by popping up the image on some more foam tape.

Cute Card Thursday - Anything Goes

Our theme at Cute Card Thursday this week is 'Anything Goes'. 

As always, we welcome your own interpretation. 

I love the adorable digital images designed by Sassy Cheryl. I used 'Signs of Spring', available from Whimsy Stamps, for this card. 

I printed out the image onto white cardstock and used my Spectrum Noir Tri-Blend maulers to color it in. I then used the Whimsy Stamps Hand Stitched Rectangles die (now retired) to cut out the white panel.

I stamped the sentiment from the Whimsy Stamps Giraffe Peeking stamp set directly onto the image panel.

I added the panel onto some purple cardstock from my stash.

This was all then added onto a standard A2 white card base.

A super quick, CAS style card.

Whimsy Stamps May Digital Release

It's the start of a new month - so that means a new digital stamp release from Whimsy Stamps! I used the fun The Game is in the Player digital stamp for this card.

I printed out the image and then colored him in with my Spectrum Noir Tri-blend markers. 

I stamped the sentiment from Whimsy Stamps 'For the Men' stamp set (now retired).

 I cut down the panel to measure 3.75" x 5" and used my corner chopper to cut the corner notch. There is a die from Whimsy Stamps called 'Notched Rectangles' which you could use, which also adds the stitching details too - I have already packed this die ready for a house move across the country! 

I added this onto some patterned paper from my stash and then onto a standard A2 green card base.

I'm loving the clean & simple look.
