Let it snow

I'm loving the slimline trend at the moment, and the Let it Snow stamp set from Mama Elephant works perfectly on a slimline card.

I stamped out the characters from the Let it Snow stamp set and colored them in with my Prismacolor pencils. I added some white gel pen detailing and fussy cut them out.

I used Faded Jeans, Broken Chona and Cracked Pistachio distress oxides to blend the background panel and the added some dots of water for a little more texture. I used Trunity Stamps envelope builder die set to cut out the scalloped frame.

I hand cut the snow hill and added it onto the inside cut from the frame. I stamped the snowflakes from the Let it Snow stamp set using both versa mark watermark ink and white pigment ink.

I stamped the sentiment and heat embossed it with white embossing powder.

I added the characters to the card and placed the inside portion onto a standard slimline white card base. I popped up the frame on foam tape for added dimension.

I finished off the card with some sequins and embellishments from my stash.
